Corporate News:

- The IV&V Group, Inc. has just begun a one year (with 2 option years) sub-contract providing independent verification and validation support to HUD OIG for  both their IT Operations and Maintenance effort and their new acquisition effort.

- The IV&V Group, Inc. is teamed with two different prime contractors (small business, large business) for Functional Category 3: Independent Verification and Validation of the EAGLE II solicitation.

- The IV&V Group, Inc. has been selected by G&B Solutions, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of VSE Corporation, in support of its existing IV&V contract with the Inspector General’s Office of Housing and Urban Development (effective May 4, 2010).

Government News:OMB Circular A-11:

The previously issued OMB Circular A-119(Revised) mandated the use of voluntary consensus standards. The recently issued OMB Circular A-11 ties the use of voluntary consensus standards to the OMB 300 package.

IEEE 1012 Working Group:

The IEEE 1012 Working Group seeks to augment its membership with individuals experienced in computer hardware relative to software intensive systems. This experience may be in engineering or quality assurance. If interested contact: edward.addy@ngc.com.
